Citi Micro-entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony 2017

Citi Micro-entrepreneurship Awards 2017 Under the auspices of his Excellency the minister of social affairs, Mr. Pierre Abi Assi, the #YMCA – Lebanon, in collaboration with #Citi-Group, proudly celebrated the annual awards distribution ceremony at the Habtour Hotel – Sin el Fil on Thursday, December 14, 2017. The awards provided by Citi-Group in 2017 benefitted 41 recipients who excelled in their businesses. Winner categories included artisanal crafts, trade, agriculture, and agro-industry, creating additional income and job opportunities. Recipients were nominated by eleven different micro-credit institutions operating all over Lebanon. The program is in its twelfth year and has so far benefitted 418 entrepreneurs. A jury selected the award winners, following field visits to the project sites, and a study of the economic return on the initial investment of the loan.
