Under the auspices of his Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs, Mr. Pierre Bou Assi, YMCA – Lebanon, in collaboration with Citibank N.A. Lebanon and Citi Foundation, proudly celebrated the annual awards distribution ceremony at the Cosmopolitan Hotel – Dekwaneh on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

The awards benefitted 39 recipients who excelled in their businesses. Winner categories included artisanal crafts, trade, agriculture and agro-industry and information technology. Recipients were nominated by twelve different micro-credit institutions operating all over Lebanon.

The program is in its thirteenth year and has so far benefitted 457 entrepreneurs.

A jury selected the award winners, following field visits to the project sites, and a study of the economic return on the initial investment of the loan.

The Citi Bank awards for small projects in collaboration with YMCA is a gesture of good will and boost for entrepreneurship in Lebanon.
