Awareness Dissemination to Promote Sustainable Hygienic Access, Use Efficiency and Resource Management of Potable Water
2017-2018
In colaboration with USAID, we are running the Awareness Dissemination to Promote Sustainable Hygienic Access, Use Efficiency and Resource Management of Potable Water. This project is an 18-month development plan, beginning in March 2017, and funded by the Lebanon Water Project (USAID). We are targeting 15 cooperatives & SMEs, as well as schools, farmers, and households, to raise awareness around water resource management and water use efficiency. Our goals in this project are to:
Increase the level of awareness of targeted communities about the conservation of water, water quality, and hygienic practices by engaging local authorities, civil society, and responsible entities
Improve access to safe drinking water specifically in schools and agri/food establishments through compliance to hygienic requirements and scientific monitoring using qualitative kits/devices.
